This workshop is about mastering the increasing and reducing internal tension we create on a daily basis, often without knowing, to better suit an ease of movement.
In this workshop, the floor will be used as a tool inline with the imagination to explore methods of moving and creating new movement patterns.
Movement patterns from those in standing to lying, with those that join between, will be taught in bite-sized portions, then pieced together.
Rather than offering choreography, the intention is to equip the student with a new movement vocabulary and tone, so as to have the ability to “write” their way.
